Successful author Anna Rivers' car is found next to a river, and her body is later discovered upstream, leading her husband Jonathan to suspect an accidental death. However, after discovering electronic voice phenomena (EVP) with Raymond Price, Jonathan becomes obsessed with contacting Anna from beyond, receiving fuzzy audio and video messages.
