In the aftermath of World War II, an Indian Army officer, Gian Singh, helps a young Muslim girl, Naseem Khan, escape persecution and eventually falls in love with her. As they navigate the challenges of their interfaith relationship, Gian's desire to reunite Naseem with her family leads him to convert to Islam and embark on a perilous journey to Pakistan. However, his plans are thwarted when he discovers that Naseem is being held captive by her brothers, who seek revenge against Sikhs.
