Lake Placid

In the wake of a terrifying underwater assault in Maine's Black Lake, a local Fish and Game officer teams up with a New York City paleontologist to unravel the mystery. With a sole mangled body as their starting point, they embark on a perilous quest to track down the elusive creature, as rival groups including a sheriff, a mythology professor, and a reclusive local all vie to find the predator first. But beneath the tranquil lake's surface, a deadly force is lurking, with a taste for human flesh.
