King O'Hara's horse-drawn Hansom Cab is a popular way to get around Broadway, but things take a turn when the horse falls ill and later dies after being given candy by a well-meaning friend. Wilbur sets out to find a new horse and rescues a lost one, unaware it's a famous racing horse named Tea Biscuit. Tea Biscuit's spirited nature soon gets noticed, and it's eventually entered into a prestigious horse-race in Saratoga, leading to a series of complications.
