Two friends, Bill and Ted, are set to star in a Broadway show together and each discovers the perfect leading lady in Paris. They bring their respective choices back to the States, unaware that the other has also found a leading lady, leading to a tumultuous transatlantic journey as they must break the news to their finds that they may not land the role.
