Biography

Kenner G. Kemp, a remarkably prolific and ubiquitous extra, was born on January 3, 1908, in the small desert town of Concho, Arizona. His illustrious career in the entertainment industry began in the early 1930s, with uncredited minor roles in films, gradually gaining momentum as he started to appear in numerous television shows during the early 1950s.

Beyond his work as an extra, Kenner was a skilled stuntman and occasional stand-in for the renowned actor Walter Pidgeon. His impressive range of talents also extended to his involvement in the Screen Extras Guild, where he held esteemed positions such as treasurer and vice president. Interestingly, his sister Donna Kempe also pursued a career as an extra, showcasing the strong familial bond and shared passion for the industry.

Tragically, Kenner G. Kemp's life came to a close at the age of 77 on May 13, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. Despite his passing, his remarkable contributions to the world of entertainment continue to be celebrated and remembered.
