Two women, Annie and Cheryl, join forces to search for their children who were taken by their ex-husbands, David and Michael, respectively. Annie, a card dealer in Reno, had to leave her kids with her mother while working long hours, and David's departure with their children was the final straw. Meanwhile, Cheryl's ex-husband Michael also ran off with their kids in Lincoln, Nebraska. Six months later, Cheryl tracks down Annie through a missing-children's network and they embark on a journey together to find their children.
