A young paperboy's sinister motives are revealed when he murders an elderly woman, drawing her family to the countryside under false pretenses. As the family becomes acquainted with the boy, they are initially charmed by his attempts to form connections, only to discover his true nature and banish him from their lives. But the boy's darkness is far from extinguished, and a terrifying descent into chaos ensues.
