The Marines Fly High background

The Marines Fly High

In the heart of the South American jungle, two Marine lieutenants engage in a fierce battle against ruthless bandits, as their rivalry for the enchanting Joan Grant reaches a boiling point.

A group of US Marines are stationed in a Central American country, training local soldiers and supporting the government. However, a band of outlaws is wreaking havoc, sparking a revolution. The leader of the training, Darrick, is torn between his duty and his feelings for American Joan Grant. Complicating matters are the arrival of a new pilot, Malone, and the re-emergence of Darrick's former lover, Theresa. When Joan's plantation is attacked, she flees to the garrison, and the Marines launch a search for the outlaws and their elusive leader. Meanwhile, Darrick and Malone find themselves vying for Joan's affections.
