The gang heads to Kelly's grandfather's Hawaiian hotel, "The Hideaway", for a summer vacation without Belding. However, they soon find out that Belding is there, and they must help Grandpa Harry, who is being threatened by a capitalist trying to seize his land to build an apartment complex. Meanwhile, Zack rekindles his romance, Slater and Lisa make a bet, and Screech gets kidnapped by the Pupuku clan.
