In the days following the assassination of Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, photojournalist Jim de Booy stumbles upon a conspiracy involving state security, defense contractors, and shadowy Americans. As he digs deeper, he discovers a key figure in the plot may be a Turkish woman, Ayse Him, recently released from prison. With his 16-year-old daughter Marije, Jim must evade danger as state security becomes aware of his investigation, and the body count rises to protect the truth about Fortuyn's murder.
