A doctor, Dr. Eric Robinson, believes heaven and hell are just products of imagination and memory. To prove this, he puts himself in a coma-like state to study near-death experiences. During his experiments, he ventures into both heaven and hell. However, after a second chance, he flees to a church while his colleagues and friends, accompanied by a cop, try to arrest him for attempted murder. The movie concludes with an invitation to accept or reject Christ as Savior.
