A mischievous young man, Wong Fei-Hung, receives a rigorous training in martial arts from a renowned master of drunken fighting styles after his father's patience is worn thin by a series of unfortunate events.
A father, frustrated with his son's disobedience, sends him to his cruel uncle to learn the 8-Drunken Genii kung-fu. The son endures hardship and eventually returns to rescue his father from an assassin.
