Art Mathews, a former Las Vegas police officer, is struggling to cope with the murder of his wife, Helen. His attempts to find her killer led to multiple incidents of police brutality, resulting in his indefinite suspension. Meanwhile, Henry Falcon, a driver with multiple personality disorder, becomes a suspect in Helen's murder. As Art gets closer to the truth, his former partner, Detective Hutchins, loses control and the body count rises.
