Born of War

In the late 1980s, a young Englishwoman named Daphne flees for her life after being accused of murdering a tribal boy, changing her identity. Twenty years later, her daughter Min, a student, is struggling to make ends meet and living at home. When her parents are brutally murdered during a night raid, Min and her younger sister are taken in for protection, revealing a shocking truth: Min's mother, Daphne, had a secret affair with the leader of the tribal family and Min is his daughter, whom he now demands to return.
