A story about two outsiders from Brazil and Germany, brought together by a quest for original sheet music. Marten, a retired music teacher from Germany, travels to Ouro Preto, Brazil, to collect the music. En route, he finds himself teaching music to juvenile delinquents, blending Bach's compositions with Brazilian instruments. He forms a bond with Fernando, a street-smart boy, and discovers they share more than expected.
