The Woman in Red

In the midst of Long Island's picturesque polo country, a wife's life is upended as she becomes embroiled in a high-profile murder trial.

Shelby Barrett, a show horse rider, marries Johnny Wyatt, a polo pony rider, despite the presence of her wealthy employer "Nicko" Nicholas and her admirer Gene Fairchild. The couple faces challenges as they struggle to make ends meet and deal with Johnny's snobby in-laws. When Fairchild is accused of murder after a woman falls overboard from his yacht, Shelby's testimony saves him, but she must confront the consequences of her actions and Johnny's forgiveness.
