The rustic family musical group, "The Weaver Brothers and Elviry," star in another film from Republic Pictures. In this mid-America adventure, Mayor Elviry Weaver and her husband, Police Chief Abner, face criticism for the town's rampant crime. Elviry enlists the help of gangster Scarf Lennin to clean up the lawless element, but Scarf takes over the Weaver Family's old homestead and turns it into a night club and gambling joint. The club's presence affects the nearby defense plant's workers, causing a decline in morale and war production. Abner saves the day by using evidence of sugar rationing violations to shut down the club and restore peace to Farmington.
