Adrian Pasdar's character, Cowboy Caleb Colton, falls deeply in love with Jenny Wright's vampire, Mae, after a chance encounter at a bar. However, their romance is threatened when Mae's bite leaves Caleb craving human blood, forcing him to abandon his family and join Mae's gang of vampires, including the sinister Severen. As Caleb struggles with his new identity, he must choose between his loyalty to his loved ones and his love for Mae.
