In a 1950s-like world, space radiation has turned the dead into zombies that crave human flesh. Zombies can be temporarily stopped with a shot, but only destroyed permanently by destroying their brain. A company called Zomcon controls the zombie population, and their domestication collars allow them to control and use the zombies. The elderly are viewed with suspicion, and everyone learns to shoot to protect themselves.
