Richard and Barbara Harmon's 17-year marriage has become stagnant, leading to arguments, a marriage counselor, and Richard's drunken encounter with a prostitute. Eventually, they go their separate ways, only to reunite at a nightclub and realize their marriage was better than their divorce.
