In the film industry, a successful adult film director named Jack Horner is always on the lookout for fresh talent. By chance, he discovers Eddie Adams, a young and attractive busboy working in a restaurant, who is eager to please. Eddie quickly becomes a star in the industry, using the screen name Dirk Diggler, and wins numerous awards. However, his success is short-lived as drugs and ego issues create tension between him and those around him.
