Zephani Idoko is a Nigerian-American Actress born in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, where her journey as a performer began.
She pursued her passion for acting by enrolling in the esteemed Academy of Art in California, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting with honors, while simultaneously honing her craft through professional work.
Following her graduation and relocation to New York, Zephani's talent was soon recognized when she landed the starring role of Abena in the Horror feature, The Unsettling. This gripping film tells the story of a West African couple's vacation to Los Angeles, which takes a dark turn as they encounter unexplained problems in the house they've rented. The Unsettling premiered in select theaters and on Apple TV in early 2023, after being showcased at various film festivals across Australia, the UK, and the US in 2021 and 2022.
In mid-2021, Zephani made a significant career milestone by joining the supporting cast of Blumhouse and Amazon Studios' critically acclaimed horror film, Nanny. This impressive achievement was followed by the film's grand jury prize win at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
In addition to her film work, Zephani has also made a mark in television, taking on the roles of Ashley in season 2 of HBO Max's Gossip Girl and Stephanie in the second season of Starz's Power Book II: Ghost.
