Yvonne Suhor

Yvonne Suhor, a visiting assistant professor of theatre at the institution, has acquired a Master of Fine Arts degree from the esteemed University of California. Throughout her multifaceted career, she has successfully traversed the realms of both the stage and screen, donning the hats of professional actress, director, and teacher for several years. Her impressive repertoire includes a recurring role in the popular television series, The Young Riders, which aired on ABC in 1989. Additionally, she has played the captivating character of Cicely in an Emmy award-winning episode of Northern Exposure, which premiered in 1990. Her other notable television credits include a recurring role in Brooklyn Bridge, which debuted in 1991, as well as guest appearances in numerous shows, including Murder, She Wrote, Star Trek: Voyager, and Dillinger, the latter of which featured Mark Harmon. On the stage, Suhor has been involved in several productions, including Steppenwolf's award-winning production of Grapes of Wrath, and has even toured Australia with the internationally acclaimed production of Lydie Breeze. Her performance in Vampires earned her a JEFF nomination. As a member of the theatre department, Suhor instructs students in the disciplines of voice, movement, and acting.
