YaYa Gosselin is a talented American actress born in Dallas, Texas, with a unique ancestry comprising Mexican, French, Native American, and English heritage. Her remarkable journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of five when she was cast in a national Elmo commercial for Hasbro through The Clutts Agency in Dallas.
Consistently working in commercials until the age of seven, YaYa then enrolled in acting classes at DTV Studios Acting for Film & Television, where she still receives training to this day. It did not take long for her to start vying for major roles, and by the time she was nine, she had already appeared in her first studio film, Peppermint, and co-starred in The Purge and 13 Reasons Why.
YaYa's impressive resume continued to grow as she was cast to play Tali LaCroix in the planted FBI: Most Wanted pilot for CBS, eventually becoming a series regular and appearing in 40 episodes alongside Julian McMahon. Her portrayal of Tali LaCroix stole hearts, and she went on to win the coveted lead role of Missy Moreno in Robert Rodriguez's new kids franchise We Can Be Heroes for Netflix, starring alongside Pedro Pascal and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas.
The film's massive success led it to become one of the most streamed films in 2021, with a sequel currently in development. In the fall of 2021, YaYa landed the lead role of Sam Torres in Apple TV+ new kids and family series Surfside Girls, based on the best-selling graphic novel series of the same name.
Throughout her career, YaYa has been passionate about playing non-stereotypical Latina characters. Outside of acting, she is a skilled dancer and an avid horse enthusiast. Additionally, she plays the ukulele, guitar, and piano proficiently. Her most cherished role is that of big sister to her sisters Pippa and Nico.
