Winston Stona, a talented thespian, took his first breath on November 14, 1939, in the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica, a country renowned for its rich cultural heritage and rhythmic musical beats. This exceptional individual, blessed with a remarkable gift for acting, left an indelible mark on the world of entertainment, captivating audiences with his captivating performances in a plethora of films. One of his most notable roles was in the 1993 comedy classic, Cool Runnings, a film that has become an iconic representation of Jamaican culture and spirit. In addition to his work in Cool Runnings, Stona's impressive acting repertoire also includes the 2003 drama, One Love, and the 1991 film, The Lunatic. Throughout his illustrious career, Stona's talent and dedication earned him widespread recognition and admiration. Unfortunately, his life came to a close on August 23, 2022, in St. Andrew, Jamaica, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and entertain generations to come.
