William McAllister, a multifaceted creative force, resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he has established himself as a producer, writer, actor, and director.
Will McAllister's journey in the entertainment industry began in the 2000s, concurrently with his career as a special education assistant in rural Utah. He made his acting debut in several local short films before taking the reins as writer, director, and actor in his 2012 project, "Bear Heimlich", a film adaptation of a stage play by Ginny Anderson.
In August of the same year, McAllister embarked on a new venture, teaching film courses at East Hollywood High School in Utah, where he crossed paths with fellow filmmaker and instructor Joshua Wagner. This fruitful collaboration would yield numerous film and video shorts over the years, showcasing the duo's creative synergy.
In 2013, Will McAllister produced and starred in the web-series "Paradise High", directed by Wagner. Two years later, he wrote, directed, and starred in the short film "The Benevolent Boys", a passion project loosely based on his own adolescence. This coming-of-age story follows four teenage boys as they harness the power of 1990s internet to exact revenge on their high school bully, seeking justice in the process.
In 2018, McAllister and Wagner co-directed the short film "Worst Prom Ever" together. Since then, Will McAllister has continued to teach and make a lasting impact on the Utah filmmaking community, distinguished by his unique creative voice, which embodies a sense of fun, love, and optimism.
