Biography

William Joseph Elk III, a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla, Cayuse and Walla Walla Tribes, is a multifaceted individual with a strong background in both business and the arts.

He earned his degree from the Schools of Business Administration and Theatre Arts at Portland State University, where he initially delayed his business coursework to focus on his passion for acting and playwriting.

During his time at PSU, William gained valuable stage experience, which led to his role in Sherman Alexie's "The Business of Fancy Dancing". This experience further fueled his desire to pursue a career in the film industry.

Living in Portland and attending PSU provided William with the opportunity to be a part of various film productions, including "Ricochet River", "The Northwest Passage" project, "The Hunted", "What the Bleep Do We Know", "Littlefoot", and the TNT/Dreamworks series "Into the West".

William's television projects include "State Police", the BBC's "The Wolly Mamoth" series, "Final Justice", and appearances on "Highway Patrol". He has also worked on the Hallmark movie "Valley of Light" and the horror movie "Last Stand".

William's discovery was a serendipitous moment, occurring while he was traditional Round Bustle dancing at the Pi-Umpsha Pow Wow in Warm Springs, Oregon. Shortly after, he worked with Kate Hudson on her first feature film project, "Ricochet River", as a body double for Doug Spain.

Since then, William has been working tirelessly to achieve his dream of a career in the film industry. He now resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to pursue his passion for the arts.
