Warren Farlow's early life as a child actor led to a unique path, as he and his identical twin brother Wayne A. Farlow pursued their passion for track and field. During their high school years, Warren and Wayne attended Hollywood High School and later the University of Southern California (USC),where they were part of the Trojan's NCAA championship track and field team in 1961. This achievement was a testament to their athletic prowess, and they further solidified their reputation as a formidable duo by setting an American record in the two-mile relay team in 1962.
Warren's coaching career was equally impressive, as he became a highly successful and popular track and field coach at John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California. Over the course of 27 years, his teams achieved remarkable success, including winning the 1980 state girls' title, three city sectional titles, and 15 league championships. His dedication and expertise earned him a reputation as a top-notch coach in the region.
In contrast, Wayne chose to follow a different path, staying in the entertainment industry and working as a second unit director, assistant director, and production manager. While Warren's focus was on coaching, Wayne's skills and experience in the entertainment sector have been just as valuable and successful. Despite their different career choices, the twins have always shared a strong bond and a deep appreciation for each other's accomplishments.
