Vishal Malhotra is a multifaceted Indian film and television actor who has also had a successful stint as a television host. Born in the vibrant city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, he began his career in the entertainment industry by hosting the popular show Disney Hour in 1995. This marked the beginning of his journey as an actor, and he made his acting debut with the television serial Hip Hip Hurray in 1998.
In 2004, Vishal revisited his hosting roots by hosting Disney Hour on Sony Entertainment Television, and later, he played the role of Vetaal in the Disney Channel serial Vicky and Vetaal. His breakthrough in films came with the Ken Ghosh-directed Ishq Vishk, followed by a series of projects that showcased his versatility as an actor, including Jannat, Salaam-e-Ishq, Tu Hai Mera Sunday, Kaal, Dor, Kismat Konnection, and Naqaab.

He produced and directed the world's first NFT-funded film, ILM, which was released on Disney Plus Hotstar in December 2022.
