Biography

Vikram Prabhu is a prominent Indian film actor, predominantly active in the Tamil film industry, who made his debut in Prabhu Solomon's critically acclaimed movie, Kumki, in the year 2012. The film was produced by the renowned producer, N. Linguswamy, under the Thirupathi Brothers Banner.

Born into a family of renowned actors, Vikram Prabhu is the son of the accomplished actor, Prabhu Ganesan, and the grandson of the legendary actor, Sivaji Ganesan. This rich legacy has undoubtedly influenced his passion for acting and his journey in the film industry.

Before pursuing his acting career, Vikram Prabhu studied in San Diego, where he completed his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) program. Upon returning to Chennai, he assisted in the production activities of his family's production venture, Chandramukhi, in 2005. This experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors in the film industry.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Vikram Prabhu also had a stint in theatre while studying for his degree at San Diego State University. This exposure to the performing arts further honed his skills and prepared him for his future roles in the film industry.

Vikram Prabhu gained valuable experience by assisting the director, Vishnuvardhan, in the movie, Sarvam, in 2009. He then went on to assist in the production works of Aasal, in 2010, which was also produced by Sivaji Productions, his family's production house. Through these experiences, Vikram Prabhu has demonstrated his dedication to his craft and his willingness to learn from the best in the industry.
