Victor Hermínio Lopez, a multifaceted individual, was born in Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico, and spent his formative years in Tijuana, B.C., and Venice, California, before later residing in London and Lincoln, England.
Growing up, Victor was exposed to the world of photography through his father, Hermínio, who learned the trade from his uncle, Samuel. Meanwhile, his mother, Victoria, devoted herself to raising a family of eight children, with Victor being the youngest.
During his time in Venice, California, a film production, 'Mother, Jugs & Speed', featuring notable actors Bill Cosby, Raquel Welch, and Harvey Keitel, set up shop in front of his family's home for several months. This experience sparked Victor's interest in acting, which was further fueled by his admiration for Al Pacino's performance in 'Dog Day Afternoon'.
Throughout his career, Victor has performed on stage in England, Off-Broadway, and Los Angeles. He was a member of the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, where he portrayed a range of characters, including Don John in 'Much Ado About Nothing', Sebastian in 'Twelfth Night', Friar Laurence in 'Romeo & Juliet', and the title role in Christopher Marlowe's 'Doctor Faustus'.
As a Hollywood best-kept secret, Victor has primarily worked on independent foreign films. Notable projects include 'Shadow Boxing 2; Revenge', the top-grossing Russian/Eastern European action-boxing-mafia blockbuster, produced by Central Partnership, which premiered at the Moscow International Film Festival. He also appeared in Greece's 'Without Borders', winner of the Orpheus Audience Award at the 2011 L.A. Greek Film Festival, and had lead roles in Mexico's suspense-thriller 'Soul Walker' (Guardian De Las Animas) and 'Double Down'.
Currently, Victor is the creator of the upcoming Netflix series, 'Growin' Up VENICE', which is in development.
