Vanessa Claire Stewart's journey began in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was born and later attended the esteemed Webster Conservatory for the Performing Arts, graduating with honors. This impressive academic feat was followed by a coveted spot at the renowned Oxford School of Drama in England, further solidifying her artistic foundation.
Throughout her illustrious career, Vanessa has received numerous accolades for her outstanding performances. Notably, she won an LA Weekly theatre award for her captivating portrayal of "Alex" in Anthony Burgess' "A Clockwork Orange". Additionally, she has garnered four LA Stage Alliance awards for her musical "Louis and Keely: Live at the Sahara", directed by the acclaimed Taylor Hackford, and one LA Stage Raw award for writing the Pasadena Playhouse production of "Stoneface".
Beyond her impressive acting credentials, Vanessa is also a talented writer. Her creative endeavors have led to three screenplays and one TV series idea being optioned, as well as the production of a feature film. Her film "Chase the Slut" was an official selection at the prestigious Edinburgh Film Festival.
