Valerie Jane Parker, a talented individual, was born on the mission field in Harare, Zimbabwe, to parents Margaret Hailey Meek, a devoted children's pastor, and Ronnie Allen Meek, a pastor and actor, who relocated their family to the United States shortly after her birth. As the youngest of three siblings, Valerie was raised in a small town outside of Nashville, Tennessee, where her parents' passion for the theatre greatly influenced her early life.
Growing up, Valerie would often spend hours watching rehearsals from backstage, observing the theatrical performances of her parents, who were not only pastors but also actively involved in the theatre.
