Václav Vorlíček

Václav Vorlíček, a highly acclaimed Czech film director, embarked on his life's journey on June 3, 1930, and his remarkable tenure on this earth came to a close on February 5, 2019. His academic foundation in filmmaking was meticulously laid at FAMU, where he devoted himself to his studies from 1951 to 1956, thereby setting the stage for a future replete with creative expression.
