Urska Djukic, a talented filmmaker born in 1986 in the charming city of Ljubljana, Slovenia, began her artistic journey at the prestigious Academy of Arts in Nova Gorica.

As a young and ambitious filmmaker, Urska's short film "Bon Appétit, La Vie!" caught the attention of the film industry, winning the coveted award for Best Short at the National Festival of Slovenian Film in 2016.

In 2018, Urska's talent and potential were recognized by the esteemed Directors' Fortnight and Sarajevo Film Festival, who invited her to participate in the SEE Factory, a joint project aimed at nurturing young directors.

During her time at SEE Factory, Urska co-directed the short film "The Right One," which premiered at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival in 2019. This significant achievement was a testament to her growth as a filmmaker and her ability to work collaboratively with others.

In the same year, Urska was selected for the 39th Cinéfondation Residence in Paris, where she began developing her debut feature film, "Little Trouble Girls." This residency provided her with the opportunity to refine her craft and explore her unique visual style, which combines live-action, animation, and other techniques to create captivating hybrid narratives.
