Urs Remond's life journey began in Cameroon, Africa, where he spent his formative years. At the tender age of 12, he embarked on a fascinating journey, delving into the world of classical dance. However, fate had other plans, and a motorcycle accident put an abrupt end to his dancing aspirations.
Undeterred, Remond redirected his path and enrolled at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg. This marked the beginning of his journey in the world of theatre, where he spent years honing his craft in Hamburg and Berlin. Alongside his acting career, he also explored his creative side as a writer and director.
Years of experience in the theatre led Remond to transition to the world of television and film. He spent eight years in Paris, where he worked on numerous French productions. Eventually, he returned to Germany, where he landed the role of a villain in several productions.
However, it was his breakthrough role as the protagonist in the highly successful RTL-Action-Series "Medicopter 117" that catapulted him to stardom. This was followed by his roles in "John Sinclair" and other notable productions.
In recent years, Remond has expanded his reach, appearing in international productions such as "Covert Affairs" with NBC and the critically acclaimed BBC Mini-Series "37 Days". He has also lent his voice to the highly anticipated videogame "Battlefield V", released in 2018, where he played the much-discussed role of Tigertank commander Peter Müller.
In 2020, Remond added another accolade to his resume, taking on the role of the government spokesman for Angela Merkel in the award-winning TV-Movie "Die Getriebenen".
