Tuba was born on July 5 in the vibrant city of Istanbul. She pursued her passion for the arts by majoring in Costume & Design at the prestigious Mimar Sinan University of the Fine Arts, graduating in the year 2004. That same year, she made her acting debut in the successful TV show "Cemberimde Gül Oya," where she portrayed the character of Zarife. This marked the beginning of a successful acting career that would span numerous projects.
The following year, Tuba received the award for "Best Actress" in the "Republic of Serbia and Montenegro International TV Festival" for her outstanding performance in the TV movie "Gülizar." This recognition further solidified her position as a talented actress in the Turkish entertainment industry.
In 2005, Tuba starred in the TV series "Ihlamurlar Altinda," where she brought the character of Filiz to life. The show became a massive hit not only in Turkey but also in many Middle Eastern countries. Between 2007 and 2009, Tuba played the leading role of Asi in the popular TV show "Asi," which was later nominated for "Best Soap Opera" at the "51 Monte Carlo Television Festival."
Throughout her career, Tuba has appeared in numerous successful TV shows, including "Gonülcelen," "20 Minutes," "Black Money Love," and currently, "The Brave and the Beautiful." Her film credits include "Sinav," "My Father and My Son," "Ask Your Heart," "Memories of the Wind," "Tight Dress," and "More" and "Istanbul Red," which are currently in post-production. Her authentic and captivating performances have earned her a unique place in the acting world and allowed her to reach a large audience worldwide, particularly in Turkey and the Middle Eastern region.
Tuba's outstanding performance as Melek in "20 Minutes" (2013) earned her a nomination for "Best Actress" at the "42 International Emmy Awards," making her the first ever EMMY nominee from Turkey. She has also won the "Best Actress Award" at the "14th International Giuseppe Sciacca Awards" held in Vatican City.
In addition to her acting career, Tuba is also a dedicated UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassador who works as an advocate for Children's Rights.
