Biography

Trini King is an accomplished actress, best recognized for her pivotal role as Alvina 'Baby' Tsosie in Chris Eyre's critically acclaimed film, EDGE OF AMERICA.

Born on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico, Trini's passion for acting was ignited at a remarkably young age. Under the meticulous guidance of her 5th grade Drama instructor, Steve Neal, Trini embarked on a journey that would take her to various local drama and performing arts festivals throughout the Four Corners region, comprising New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.

As she entered high school, Trini's enthusiasm for acting only intensified, prompting her to enroll in acting classes and join the Drama Club. Her dedication to her craft was rewarded in 2002 when she secured a role in Showtime's Edge of America.

Following her stint in the film industry, Trini devoted the subsequent years to her education, simultaneously working as an orthopedic surgical tech-1st assist in the medical field.

In 2017, Trini made a triumphant return to the film industry, starring in Shaandiin Tome's film MUD (Hashtl'ishnii) as the principal character, Ruby.

Currently residing in San Francisco, California, Trini is a student at the prestigious Academy of Art University, where she is further honing her acting skills.

In addition to her acting endeavors, Trini is a devoted advocate for several social and environmental causes, including farmers' rights, local food systems, indigenous food sovereignty, and animal adoption for injured/homeless pets on the Navajo Indian Reservation.
