Anh Hung Tran, a renowned filmmaker, entered this world on December 23, 1962, in Da Nang, Vietnam. His life's work has been marked by a passion for direction and writing, with a plethora of notable projects to his name, including the critically acclaimed "The Scent of Green Papaya" (1993),the more recent "The Taste of Things" (2023),and the 2010 cinematic adaptation of Haruki Murakami's beloved novel "Norwegian Wood".
Tran has shared his life with his loving wife, Nu Yên-Khê Tran.
