Biography

Tracy Morse made a bold move in 1992, leaving his native Rhode Island behind to chase his dream of becoming a rock star in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. However, as the harsh realities of the music industry set in, Tracy's attention soon shifted towards a career in the film industry, driven by his passion for storytelling and a desire to merge his rock-star sensibilities with his newfound creative pursuits.

Over the course of his 25-year tenure in the entertainment business, Tracy has written an impressive 48 feature screenplays, in addition to numerous pilots, treatments, and shorts for a diverse array of producers and directors in Hollywood. His expertise extends beyond writing, as he has also directed a range of projects, including commercials, music videos, and short films, often collaborating with creative partners.

Tracy's short films, crafted under his B-movie persona Chopper Denton, have garnered significant acclaim, earning him numerous awards, including the coveted Fan Favorite Award at Comic-Con. These popular shorts continue to entertain audiences online to this day. In 2009, Tracy co-wrote and co-directed his first feature film, Demon Legacy, alongside John Savage and Eileen Dietz. His subsequent feature, Creature, co-written by Tracy and produced by The Bubble Factory, received a nationwide release in September 2011.

Tracy is also the creator of a horror screenwriting course, Scared Scriptless, which he enthusiastically tours whenever the opportunity arises. Currently, he has two screenplays in pre-production, with plans to bring them to life on camera this spring.
