Biography

Tom Walsh is the Founder and CEO of TW3 Entertainment, Inc, TW3 Studios, and TW3 Music. He established TW3 to focus on creative original entertainment projects that take audiences to unique and imaginative worlds. As the principal creator of fantastical worlds, Walsh leads the creative team and project development at TW3 Entertainment. He has created over 320 original characters, built a character library of 480 original characters, and written 16 original motion pictures, Virtual Reality, television, and streaming properties.

Tom has directed, produced, and written numerous projects, including the computer animation motion picture "Dwegons and Leprechauns" starring Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo. He has also produced and directed the feature film "Denial" starring Robin Wright, Jason Patric, and David Duchovny. Prior to TW3, Walsh was CEO of IDL, Inc., where he Co-Produced the feature film "Denial" and optioned the Jim Thompson novel "After Dark My Sweet".

Tom has created, written, produced, and directed several TV pilots, including "We Dare You!", "House to House", "Mismatch", "Andrea's Listings", "The Kernies", "14 Stories", "Newsoes", "Kidsline", "Seahawk", and "World Wide Weapon". He has also directed and produced the TV pilot "Tom Travis Show" for Global Point Productions, which was successfully sold as a TV series for PBS.

Tom has managed and supervised daily production/filming activities of an EnterAktion Studios Operation in Miami, which included optical Motion Capture systems, a large Hi-tech blue screen stage, TV control room, computer animation department, and special effects department. He has also worked on several music projects, including directing and producing music videos, producing over 60 songs, and co-writing two full-length musicals.

Tom has a strong background in production and producing in China, having structured and launched several co-production ventures with animation, motion picture, and television companies in China. He has flown over 300,000 miles to China on various China-U.S. production activities.

Tom received his BFA Degree in Film and Television from New York University (Tisch School of the Arts) and trained professionally in all areas of production at NBC Television at 30 Rockefeller Plaza for 3 years while going to NYU film school.
