Tom, a talented individual, began his life journey in the working-class town of Bloomfield, New Jersey, before relocating to Toms River, NJ.
After a two-year stint as a theater major at Trenton State College, he embarked on an acting and stunt career in New York City.
Later, he made the bold move to Los Angeles, where he pursued a screenwriting career and signed with agent Alan Gasmer at the prestigious William Morris Agency.
Three years and ten screenplays later, his spec script, "The Baboon Heart," was purchased by MGM and transformed into the feature film "Untamed Heart," starring Marisa Tomei, Christian Slater, and Rosie Perez, and directed by the acclaimed Tony Bill.
Tom also played a multifaceted role in the film, serving as Associate Producer, Stunt Coordinator, and even acted as Marisa's blind date, Ronnie.
As a screenwriter, Tom has worked tirelessly, producing assignment work for various studios, including MGM, TriStar/Sony, Touchstone, Castle Rock Entertainment, and Warner Bros., and collaborating with industry legends and Academy Award winners, such as director/producer Tony Bill, screenwriter William Goldman, and Academy and Thalberg Award-winning director Norman Jewison.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tom has penned over fifty feature film screenplays, five novels, numerous short stories, and even a thirteen-episode season of the one-hour drama "Men Of Goodwill," which is currently in development with his longtime manager/producer and friend Alan Gasmer, who is also the showrunner for the hit series "Vikings."
Tom recently made his directorial debut, bringing his original screenplay "The Girl Who Invented Kissing" to life.
He is currently part of the writing team and co-producer for the 2022 Paramount+ series "Tulsa King," starring the iconic Sylvester Stallone, under the guidance of showrunner Terence Winter.
Tom resides in New Jersey with his loving wife and their lovable mutt.
