His impressive resume boasts an Academy Award Nomination, an Emmy Award, and numerous prizes at prestigious film festivals such as the Berlin, Cannes, Montreal, and Karlovy Vary Film Festivals, among others.
With over 25 years of experience as a working screenwriter, Tom has had the privilege of writing for esteemed film studios like Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema, Sony, and Universal Pictures. His most recently produced projects include the family film TOTALLY BOSS, released in 2022, the WWII spy thriller O-2:DAWN OF WAR, produced by Nafta Films in Estonia in 2020, the horror film NAILS, produced by Fantastic Films in Ireland in 2017, and the historical drama THE ETERNAL ROAD, produced by Mattila Productions in Finland in 2017.
Tom's latest project is a six-part mini-series about Sir Nicholas Winton and the kindertransport, set to be directed by Matej Minasz in 2021. Prior to this, Tom was a founding tutor for the acclaimed European film development workshop 'North By Northwest' from 1995 to 2005, and is currently the Co-Head of Studies for 'ScriptEast' (2006-2021),a development workshop focused on films from Eastern and Central Europe.
