Togba Norris embarked on a distinguished career in the Twin Cities, Minneapolis-St. Paul, as a talented stage actor and Hip Hop dancer, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as Youth Performance Company, Children's Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Illusion Theatre, and Guthrie Theatre under the visionary direction of renowned Broadway professionals Bartlett Sher, Joe Dowling, and Sari Ketter. His impressive stage work included a principal role in the critically acclaimed production of playwright Femi Osofisun's "Many Colors Make the Thunder-King" at the Guthrie Theatre, as well as two seasons of the beloved holiday classic "A Christmas Carol".
Togba's extensive stage experience in Minnesota earned him a coveted spot among the most sought-after young actors in the region. His remarkable talent did not go unnoticed, and he soon found himself in high demand.
In addition to his stage work, Togba has appeared in numerous regional and national commercials, industrial videos, and print ads for prominent brands such as Best Buy, Coca-Cola, Great Clips, Houlihan's Restaurant chains, Old Chicago Restaurant, The Learning Company, Wilsons Leather, Dayton Hudson/ Marshall Field's, Target, Mervyn's, Wells Fargo, and Northwest Airlines.
In 2003, Togba relocated from the Twin Cities to Los Angeles, where he continued to pursue his passion for film and theatre, working with esteemed companies such as Theatre @ Boston Court under the direction of Darin Anthony and the Blank Theatre Company, founded by Noah Wyle. Today, Togba is a prominent figure in the film and television industry, based in New York City, and continues to work regularly between LA, NYC, Atlanta, and the Twin Cities, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and talented performer.
