Tody Bernard, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, commenced his academic journey at PortAllen High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Upon completion of his secondary education, Bernard proceeded to Nicholls State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and English with a dual emphasis on acting and directing in 1980. Notably, he won the prestigious Best Actor Award at NSU during the same year.
In the realm of personal life, Bernard has been blessed with a long-lasting union with Berthilde Coles Bernard, whom he married in 1985. The couple has resided in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, since 1990.
In addition to his personal life, Bernard has had a distinguished career in the performing arts. He was a valued member of Lonny Chapman's Group Repertory Theatre in Burbank, where he appeared in a multitude of productions from 1990 to 1994.
