Hanson is a renowned American professional wrestler, notable for his tenure as part of the tag team War Machine, alongside his stalwart partner Ray Rowe. The duo made their debut in WCPW on an episode of Loaded, engaging in a thrilling match against The Swords of Essex. However, the bout took an unexpected turn when Will Ospreay announced that The Swords would be defending their WCPW Tag Team Championships. As the match progressed, Scott Wainwright suffered an injury, leaving Ospreay to fend for himself, and ultimately, War Machine emerged victorious, claiming the titles.
Over the ensuing months, War Machine dominated various teams, including The Kings of the North, Die Jungen Löwen, Liam Slater & Moose, frequently under the unconventional "War Machine Rules!" stipulation.
At Refuse to Lose, War Machine faced off against The Young Bucks, successfully retaining the WCPW Tag Titles. Following the match, WCPW Hardcore Champion Primate appeared, seeking to reclaim his Hardcore title, which he had left on the announce table earlier that evening. War Machine, however, refused to return the title until Jimmy Havoc intervened, challenging War Machine to a match for the WCPW Tag Titles on Loaded, specifying that the bout would not be fought under "War Machine Rules!", but rather under "Jimmy Havoc Rules!".
On the penultimate episode of Loaded, a brutal showdown unfolded, pitting Jimmy Havoc, Primate, and War Machine against each other. During the match, Havoc employed underhanded tactics, duct-taping Hanson's arm to the barricade, leaving Rowe to fend for himself. Despite Rowe's valiant efforts, he was ultimately pinned after a powerbomb through two steel chairs courtesy of Primate and a Diving Boot Stomp from Havoc, resulting in War Machine's loss of the tag titles. In a surprising display of respect, all four competitors shared a fist bump following the match.
