Biography

Todd Grant Kimsey, a talented individual, was born in the charming city of Athens, Georgia. His educational journey took him to Davidson College and Florida State University, where he refined his skills. Prior to embarking on a professional acting career, Todd honed his craft as an intern at the prestigious Burt Reynolds Theater in Florida.

Todd's passion for acting and dance led him to the vibrant city of New York, where he performed in various stage productions, including a traveling production of Biloxi Blues. His success in the Big Apple paved the way for his move to Los Angeles, where he swiftly landed his first role in the popular TV show Doogie Howser, MD.

Throughout his illustrious career, Todd appeared in over 50 TV shows and movies, showcasing his remarkable range and versatility. Some of his most notable credits include The Perfect Storm, Seinfeld, 24, and NCIS LA. His dedication to his craft and ability to adapt to diverse roles earned him a reputation as a talented and sought-after actor.

Todd's personal life was filled with love and joy, as he was married to Lisa Kimsey and they had three beautiful sons, Jackson, Judah, and Kellen. Tragically, Todd's life was cut short after a three-and-a-half-year battle with lymphoma, which ultimately led to complications from a stem cell transplant on September 16, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, children, parents Dr. William and Linda Kimsey, siblings Terri Langford, Tracey Evans, and Dr. Troy Kimsey, as well as 13 cherished nieces and nephews.
