Tirf Alexius is a multifaceted Haitian-American creative force, excelling as an actor, producer, director, writer, and co-founder of two Chicago-based feature film production and distribution companies, "4 Feature Film Company" and "Driven Entertainment".
With a Bachelor of Arts in acting from Columbia College, Tirf swiftly discovered his ability to bring a distinctive perspective to characters in both in-front-of and behind-the-camera roles.
Throughout his career, Tirf has directed and produced a diverse range of projects, including music videos, television shows, radio programs, multi-media content, and commercials. Notably, two of his commercials received Telly Awards.
Tirf is perhaps most renowned for his award-winning documentary, Lakay, which tells the story of his journey to Haiti after the devastating earthquake to ensure the safety of his family, whom he left behind at the age of five.
Before Lakay, Tirf directed the thriller feature film, Critical Nexus, which garnered critical acclaim for its ambition in filmmaking. His third feature film, Bastard Son of a Thousand Fathers, is soon to be released.
Despite being perceived as a serious individual, Tirf has a lighter side and is an advocate for the action film genre. He also hopes to explore comedies in his future filmmaking endeavors.
As a family man and father, Tirf is deeply committed to education and works with non-profit organizations to promote the development of young minds in local Chicago communities, as well as in Haiti and around the world.
