Tinge is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the film and television industry as a writer-director, despite her humble beginnings as a doctor. Her journey began in the medical field, where she held positions in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, and the Emergency Room. However, her passion for filmmaking soon took center stage, and she went on to create her first Bafta-winning short film, Shadowscan.
Since then, Tinge has directed and written several critically acclaimed feature films, including the Netflix musical Been So Long, which starred Michaela Coel. Her impressive resume also includes episodes for various television series, such as The Exorcist for Fox, The Feed for Amazon, The Windrush Chronicles for BBC, Industry for HBO, The Mosquito Coast for Apple TV, and Temple for Sky One. Furthermore, she is currently working on two episodes for Apple TV's upcoming series WeCrashed.
In addition to her accomplishments in the film industry, Tinge is also dedicated to philanthropic efforts. She currently serves on the board of Childline Thailand and was a trustee of Safe Child Thailand (UK) until the end of 2020.
